The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D Announced for 3DS!

It has been 14 years since Majora’s Mask was actually released to Nintendo 64, but when the game is such a dark deviation from the core story of something like The Legend of Zelda, you just don’t let it get forgotten easily.

Apparently Nintendo believes that too, which is why they are releasing The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D, just as we have been expecting for a long time.

The game is going to be a remake of the original iteration and will be released to Nintendo 3DS in spring next year.

To announce what they are doing, Nintendo has released the announcement trailer bringing back all the weirdness that the original game came with. I am sure fans of the series would have missed all the creepiness like the skull kid or the abduction of cows.

Many of the Nintendo fans would have grown up playing Link as he screamed in excruciating pain when he put on the mask; less would have known what exactly was happening back then.

So now that you are older and have a better understanding of what falls under the heading of creepiness, absurdity and non-horror horror, would you like to give a try to The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D?
