Duck Hunt Making A Comeback Via Wii U Virtual Console
Duck Hunt, the popular game of NES era will be making its way to Nintendo Wii U on virtual console. Nintendo confirmed the news during Yesterday’s Nintendo Broadcast.
Previously, players needed a Zapper light gun to take out the ducks and clay discs but this time around; players will be able to take them down using the Wii U remote.
Furthermore, it was revealed that the Duck Hunt Duo (Dog and Pigeon) would serve as fighters in the popular Super Smash Bros. title for both 3DS and Wii U.
Duck Hunt was one of the most played title in the NES era, and its revival will certainly appeal to a large number of players.
Apart from the above information, Nintendo didn’t reveal any specifics or release date for the game, but we are hoping that it will become available sooner rather than later.
In the same Nintendo Direct broadcast, the company revealed plenty of new information regarding its future.
The holidays are looking great for Nintendo fans as 3DS owners will get their hands on the highly anticipated Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, while Wii U users will be able to play Super Smash Bros.
Both of these titles will launch on November 21.
