Codename: S.T.E.A.M Gets a Q2 2015 Release Window

During Nintendo’s recent Direct Feed, the company has given a release window to Codename S.T.E.A.M and the game will be available on 3DS in Q2 2015.

During the feed, Nintendo shared details of some characters in the game along with their abilities and the most interesting fact about the game is, you can unlock Abraham Lincoln as a playable character in Codename: S.T.E.A.M.

Codename: S.T.E.A.M is a turn based strategy game, with some third person shooter elements in it. The new title is being developed by Intelligent Systems known for their work on Fire Emblem and Advance Wars.

In the game, players will be taken to a fantasy steampunk version of London. The main protagonist is known by the name of Henry Fleming and is a member of an elite combat force called Unite STEAM.

Unite STEAM was founded by none other than President Abraham Lincoln himself in order to defend planet Earth from Alien invasions.

The game’s art style is inspired by silver age comic books and enemy designs are mainly inspired by the works of renowned novelist, H.P Lovecraft.

In related news, Nintendo’s Direct Feed also confirmed the release date for Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker and the game is slated for a January 2, 2015 release in UK.
