Attack on Titan 3DS: Updated Version Coming to Japan
Attack on Titan fans in Japan will be happy to know that the game will be getting an updated version for 3DS soon. The new version will be available starting December 4, and it is priced at 4,980 yen.
Attack on Titan was released last year on 3DS and didn’t include online multiplayer and only featured local multiplayer. Unlike the last year’s release, this year’s will allow gamers to play online against other players.
That’s not all, the updated Attack on Titan will also include new characters along with new voices for character creation. If you already own last year’s version of the game, you won’t have to pay full price and buy the game all over again.
Instead, players can purchase an update kit for 2000 yen and jump right into the latest build of the game.
Unfortunately, fans wanting to purchase the game outside of Japan have no option but to import the game. There have been no news regarding a western release of the title but as soon as something is revealed, we will let you know.
Attack on Titan for 3DS is developed by Japanese studio Spike Chunsoft, who are known for localizing various western games such as The Witcher 2, Metro: Last Night and Dead Island: Riptide among others.
