Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate Continues to Dominate Japanese Charts

By   /   Nov 5, 2014

Unsurprisingly Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate has managed to break the 2 million barrier with its total number of physical sales crossing the threshold in Japan.

The game continues to dominate households and is a healthy sign for the franchise’s future. This in turn also speaks volumes for the 3DS hardware market, where Yokai Watch 2 is just behind the monster slaying title at second place this week in sales.

At third is Super Smash Bros. but is just lacking by less than a hundred copies.

With the top three spots being reigned over by the 3DS, Nintendo leaves the rest of the spots open for the PS3 and PlayStation Vita. Jikkyou Powerful Pro Yakyuu 2014 and The Evil Within take the fourth and fifth spot respectively, followed by Jikkyou Powerful Pro Yakyuu 2014 again but on the PlayStation Vita.
