Alone In The Dark: Illumination Gets a Gameplay Trailer
Atari has released a new trailer for its upcoming title Alone in The Dark: Illumination. The footage shows some of its various creepy environments and some gameplay sections as well.
Visually, the game looks pretty impressive as one can expect from Unreal Engine 4 and considering those monsters jumping around, the game could very well be a worthy addition in the genre.
Alone in the Dark: Illumination is a third person action game, featuring four player co-op. The role of light plays an integral part in the game and it can be used to defeat certain enemies.
There are four playable characters in the game, each with its own set of abilities, skills and weapons.
The Hunter comes with a powerful set of weapons which he can use to blast through engaging enemies. The Witch, as you can see in the trailer above, has some supernatural abilities and can summon a lightning strike.
The third character is known as Priest, who has some special abilities such as the Holy Light which can be effectively used against enemies of all sorts.
Last but certainly not the least, we have the Engineer, who has some mechanical items at his disposal.
Alone in the Dark is PC exclusive and is being developed by Pure FPS. The game is slated for a Holiday 2014 release but a date isn’t confirmed yet. As soon as it is, we’ll let you know.
