Resident Evil: Revelations 2 TGS 2014 Footage Now in Better Quality

By   /   Nov 2, 2014

The original footage of Resident Evil: Revelations 2 from the recent Tokyo Game Show has now been re-released but in better quality.

Opposed to the original footage being, this one is completely in English and without the Japanese subtitles. It however is also shorter.

The sequel to the 3DS title Resident Evil: Revelations is highly anticipated by fans, since this one actually looks to be the closest thing to the classic Resident Evil game. There’s no denying that over the years Capcom deviated from what helped in marking it as a survival horror brand.

Resident Evil: Revelations 2 however looks to be returning to its roots, with eerie atmospheres and corners that players will think twice about turning.

Unfortunately for those expecting the game to continue the storyline of the first title, Resident Evil: Revelations 2 does nothign of the sort. It will have its own standalone script, with two characters that players can switch between on the fly. There will also be co-op but it will only be available offline.

The game has been announced for a release in early 2015 for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC. There were also rumors of the game being in development for the Vita as well but I don’t recall Capcom confirming that.
