NBA 2K15 is Free-to-Play on Steam This Weekend

By   /   Oct 30, 2014

NBA 2K15 will be celebrating this year’s NBA season kickoff by being free to play on Steam this weekend.

This goes for the PC version only and 2K Sports has not mentioned any such similar free weekends for the rest of the platforms. The ‘Free-to-Play’ session will last until Monday, 10:00 AM PST and give players full access to the game.

Just make sure your system is boasting the following minimum requirements to meet the game’s needs.

  • OS: Windows 7 64 bit or higher
  • Processor: Intel Core2 Duo or better (SSE3 or later)
  • Memory: 2 or more GB RAM
  • Graphics: DirectX 10.1 compatible (512 MB) or better
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Hard Drive: 50 or more GB available space
  • Sound Card: 9.0c compatible

NBA 2K15 was met well enough by critics but its sluggish online play and initial servers issues did not fit well with players who were expecting a more fluid experience.

If you’re still debating over whether to pick up this year’s installment then the current offer is great for you to try out the game and decide for yourself.
