Crusader: No Remorse is Now Available for Free on Origin
As part of their “On The House” promotion, EA is offering Crusader: No Remorse free of cost this week. For a limited period, players can download this classic action game from Origin.
Crusader: No Remorse is over 20 years old and was pretty popular at that time. Comparing the graphics of this game to recent titles, I was amazed how far we have come in 20 years in terms of visuals.
The game was released in 1995 for PC DOS and is developed by Origin Systems.
Crusader: No Remorse was later ported to Sony’s Playstation and Sega Saturn in 1997. It is divided into separate missions, each having its own locations and objective.
All locations in the game such as offices, factories, space stations etc have alarm systems which be triggered if players destroy a secured door, open fire or are seen by one of the cameras.
EA always had a thing for destructible environments, just look at Battlefield games. Even back then, most of the environments in Crusader could be destroyed by firing at them.
I am fairly tempted to play this classic title this week and since it’s free, why shouldn’t I give it a go.
