Dragon Ball: Xenoverse Announced for February 17 Release

Dragon Ball: Xenoverse will officially release in North America on February 17 next year.

A day one edition has also been confirmed that will give owners immediate access to Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta as a playable fighter, as well as gold and crystal Frieza Soldier Battle Suits.

The game promises to amend ties with the franchise which mostly has seen to mediocre installments over the years. Compared to the last bunch of titles, Dragon Ball: Xenoverse will venture on to new paths.

Players will be able to create a custom character who will function as the main protagonist in the story mode. A new time traveling villain will see to it that you experience major Dragon Ball events being manipulated from the shadows.

More information about the game’s combat mechanics and other elements will follow in the days to come.

Dragon Ball: Xenoverse will release simultaneously across the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.
