Super Smash Bros for Nintendo 3DS has received a new update, which enables the online multiplayer features of the game.

Along with the online features, this update brings some minor changes and fixes to the game to allow smoother gameplay. Furthermore, it removes the Conquest chart whenever the Conquest mode is active, as it made the outcome completely obvious.

Nintendo after releasing the new update wrote on its support website:

As of October 27, 2014, new update data for Super Smash Bros. has been made available for download in the Nintendo eShop.

Users will be required to download this update prior to using the software’s online multiplayer features. Because of this, we strongly recommend that all Super Smash Bros. players download and install this update data.

If you are not sure how to get this update, then follow these instructions given by Nintendo on its official website.

The update will certainly be appreciated by the players as they will get to enjoy the online features of Super Smash Bros. among other changes.

The game made its way to the west earlier this month and as expected, it was a huge success. Now, Wii U owners are eagerly waiting for the game to release on their platform, which will happen on November 21.
