Slender: The Arrival coming to Xbox One, PS4 and Wii U?
Recent updates to the European ratings company PEGI suggests that Slender: The Arrival is headed for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Wii U.
All three listings were recently posted onto the PEGI site where they were marked with a PEGI 12 rating, similar to what the previous Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions received.
Slender: The Arrival was first released on PC via Steam last year and is a sequel to Slender: The Eight Pages. The original game was an indie title formed out of the everyday usage of the Slender man. A most annoying habit if I must say but in this case the usage of memes was pretty fruitful.
The next-gen versions will likely include the additional content from the PC version which was later added and made available to existing owners as a free download. The publisher Midnight City puts it as featuring “brand new story elements and extended levels that continue to unfold the Slender Man mythos.”
In the horror title, players have to explore a number of abandoned locations in the absence of daylight and try to find clues to the origin of the mythical Slender Man. At the same time, he will be pursuing you and it’s up to players how they avoid him throughout their searching.
