This is How Coagulation’s Remake in Halo: The Master Chief Collection Will Work
In a new video released by Microsoft, we get to see footage of the Coagulation map that has been remade as ‘Bloodline’ in Halo: The Master Chief Collection.
The Coagulation map was featured in Halo 2, which in turn is also a remake of the map Blood Gulch from Halo: Combat Evolved. Any Halo multiplayer mode would perhaps feel alienated without some form of inclusion of the map.
With Bloodline Microsoft has attempted to add a “number of changes to keep this fresh” while at the same time maintaining the nostalgia factor.
“It’s like a ‘Best Of’ collection for all the iterations of Blood Gulch,” noted Microsoft in a new post on Xbox Wire. “Longtime players will note new additions, like the UNSC Hornets from Halo 3 behind each base and a small bridge to the side that offers new areas of cover for players attacking it.”
Vehicles will continue to play a large role in the map and Microsoft has even added an EMP at each base as a defense against in invading Warthogs and Hornets force.
“And if two bases isn’t enough for you, Bloodline even features a midfield base – complete with Banshee and Warthog, ensuring lots more hectic mayhem in the canyon.”
Halo: The Master Chief Collection will release for Xbox One on November 11.
