Sony has announced that it will be releasing the system update 2.0 for PlayStation 4 on coming Tuesday. The revelation came via twitter, where Sony wrote:

PS4’s system update 2.0 is the biggest update to date as it adds multiple new features to the console and brings a lot of changes.

The biggest feature heading your way with this update is the USB Music Player, which will allow you to listen to your favorite songs in the background as you playthrough the games.

SharePlay is probably the most used app on the console, which is why Sony is looking to make it even more accessible by allowing users to activate it by pressing the share button on DualShock 4.

New “add to library” option will also be added through this update, which will allow you to purchase the game online, but it will not get downloaded unless you want to play it.

A new friend finder feature will suggest other users to you which you may know. Furthermore, PS4’s content area that shows the latest games and apps, will be fully customizable after the update.

Also, you will be able to change the background color of your PS4 to red, green, purple, pink, grey, golden and blue. Voice command feature of the console has also been improved, and some new commands have been added as well.

Apart from the aforementioned features and changes, some minor adjustments will also be a part of PS4 Update 2.0; you can read all about them on PlayStation Blog.
