GTA San Andreas Coming to Xbox 360 Again, Rockstar Confirms

By   /   Oct 24, 2014

As a huge San Andreas fan myself, the announcement of Rockstar launching the game on Xbox 360 as a re-release has me excited.

Grand Theft Auto San Andreas has been released on Xbox 360 before but something that was always missing was the support for achievements.

After the list of achievements for the new Xbox 360 version were leaked online earlier this week, Rockstar confirmed the existence of a new remastered San Andreas.

Also, eagle eyed players would have already noticed the disappearance of the original version from the Xbox Marketplace.

The old version will never be available again but you can pick up the latest build starting Sunday October 26.

The game will be available digitally from Microsoft’s Games on Demand Service. Apart from achievement support the game will feature 720p resolution with improved draw distances.

But what about players who own the old version? Will they lose access to it? Fortunately, the answer is no. You will still have access to the game on your Xbox 360 and via your download history.

With that said, if you are planning to purchase the new of San Andreas, keep in mind that you won’t be able to transfer your save files from the previous version.

If you remember, this month marks the 10-year anniversary of GTA San Andreas and Rockstar is planning to celebrate is by giving away a custom San Andreas iPad Mini 3 128 GB.

But hurry, if you want to win, register yourself before Wednesday October 29.
