Bloodborne Drops ‘Large Deadly Foes’ in New Trailer
The 32nd annual Golden Joystick Awards today saw to the release of a new trailer for Bloodborne by Sony.
The new video gives us a glimpse at some of the ‘larger’ foes players will be pitted against in the game. Knowing that the PlayStation 4 exclusive title is being headed by Demon’s Souls and Dark Souls’ director Hidetaka Miyazaki, we can expect even ghastly beings in the ancient city of Yharnam.
While Bloodborne takes a lot of elements from the previous Souls games, it is in no way a sequel. Dark Souls 2 walked away today with the Game of the Year award at the Golden Joystick Awards. That will only push the development team to make sure Bloodborne doesn’t disappoint.
Bloodborne brings together the horror and RPG genres, while focusing on faced paced combat and the positives that has made the Souls games so popular. From Software has weaved in customization options and a progression system that will cater to all your RPG needs.
The game was announced at E3 2014 and since then has been on the waiting list of everyone. Bloodborne will officially release on February 5, 2015 in Japan and then a day later in Europe and North America. Sony has been pretty tight on keeping the IP exclusive to the Sony platform.
I for one would love to see it port over to other platforms later down the line.
