Minor Miiverse Update has Gone Live, Adds Friends Filter

Just want to focus on friends and their posts on Miiverse? Now you can. On Miiverse, Nintendo Europe’s spokesperson Marty posted the news of a new update which is now available worldwide.

The update comes with minor tweaks and will allow users to filter posts on their activity feed in order to only see posts from their friends.

1) The search box for finding users has been moved to the top of the activity feed in the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS versions of Miiverse. This now matches the web version.

2) In the Wii U and web versions of Miiverse, you can now filter your activity feed to show only your friends’ posts. Select “All” at the top of the activity feed, and you can choose between “All” and “Friends Only”.

Filtering the posts feature on Miiverse is only available for the web and Wii U versions so far.

Although it’s not an update which made major changes but filtering posts can come in handy to clean up the overcrowded activity feed.

Miiverse is a social network for 3DS, PC, smartphones and Wii U users and is integrated into every Nintendo game. It enables users to share their experiences with other users through drawings, screenshots, texts and game videos.
