By   /   Oct 23, 2014

CD Projekt Red announced that they would be revealing the full opening cinematic of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt at Golden Joystick Awards, which are scheduled to take place tomorrow. However, to give us a taste of what’s in store, a teaser of the cinematic has been released, and it’s awesome.

The opening cinematic is called “The Trail” and after being unveiled at tomorrow’s awards, it will be available everywhere to watch, so do keep an eye out for it.

With The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, developers are looking to reinvent the series as they have decided to ditch the linear gameplay style by introducing a completely open world environment.

Developers have assured that there will be a ton of stuff to do in the game, and each quest you embark on will have its own unique storyline. The world of Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is 30 times larger than the previous game and 20% bigger than the universe of Skyrim.

The upcoming entry in the series will provide a conclusion to the Geralt’s story as he embarks on one final personal quest.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is set to launch on Febraury 24, 2015, for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
