Driveclub Gets New Multiplayer Events, Developers Fixing Server Issues
Driveclub has been facing its fair share of server issues, but it hasn’t stopped the developers from adding new multiplayer events to the game.
On the game’s Facebook page, developers noted that the work on improving the servers has been going on at Evolution Studios, but it will take some time. However, the players who are playing online can enjoy the newly added events.
Improving server performance is taking time, which is frustrating for all of us, but please understand that we are doing everything we can to get all aspects of online play up and running smoothly as quickly as possible.
We’ve also made changes today in Multiplayer to ensure that there are more events available to you, and that you have more variety when you choose to race with and against other drivers online.
The latest Driveclub update has fixed the servers issues for majority of the players, but still there’s room for a lot of improvement.
From the looks of it, the PlayStation Plus Edition of the game might not see the light of day until the game’s server problems are solved for everyone.
This edition of Driveclub was supposed to launch alongside the game, but due to issues that the game encountered at launch, developers decided to delay it.
The wait is annoying for the players who already had to wait for more than a year for Driveclub; hopefully, developers will sort out these issues sooner rather than later.
