Assassin’s Creed Series has Managed to Sell 77 Million Copies Worldwide
The Assassin’s Creed series has become an icon the gaming industry since the first title that launched back in 2007. The unique experience was captivating enough for the players and won all the praise for Ubisoft.
The series really picked up after the launch of Assassin’s Creed II, which is still considered to be one of the best games of the last-gen consoles.
Now, a new graph has been shared by IGN.ovh, which shows that Assassin’s Creed III was the most sold game in the franchise with 12 million copies.
Overall, the Assassin’s Creed series has been sold more than 77 Million copies, which is quite an impressive number. Only game that didn’t manage to surpass the 7 million mark was Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood as it sold 6.5 million copies.

As you can see in the graph above, there’s no stopping the franchise at the moment and with two new games coming up next month, you can expect this figure to increase even more.
On November 11, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 users will be able to play Assassin’s Creed: Rogue, whereas Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC players will get Assassin’s Creed: Unity.
