Halo Franchise Has Sold Over 60 Million Copies With 6 Billion Hours Playtime
It has been brought to light that the Halo franchise has sold more than 60 million copies worldwide, racking up 6 billion hours of gameplay on Xbox Live.
There is no question regarding the popularity of the series as it has been one of the biggest reasons for the people’s interest in Microsoft’s consoles.
Due to the success of Halo franchise, Microsoft decided to bring it to their new gen platform as well with Halo: The Master Chief Collection, which includes Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2: Anniversary Edition, Halo 3 and Halo 4.
Apart from the aforementioned playable titles, this collection will also include Halo: Nightfall, which is a live-action show that will introduce us to agent Locke who apparently has a very important role to play in the upcoming title of the series, Halo 5: Guardians.
That’s not all, the collection will also give players a code that will ensure their entry in the Halo 5 beta, which is scheduled to begin on December 29 and will last until January 18, 2015.
If you have missed out on the series before or are looking to play it once again, then pre-order and pre-download Halo: Master Chief Collection right now on your Xbox One.
Despite the pre-load, you will still have to wait until November 11 to play this collection.
