Remaking The Legend – Halo 2 Anniversary Announcement Trailer is Out

Developer of Halo: The Masterchief Collection, 343 industries has shared a new teaser trailer with the fans for an upcoming documentary about Halo 2 called Remaking The Legend – Halo 2: Anniversary.

The documentary is regarding the significance of Halo 2 in the franchise, how it came to be and the efforts of 343 to create an high definition remake of it, for Xbox One.

According to the description of this trailer, fans can expect an “unprecedented access to the development process as 343 and their team of partners from around the world bring Halo 2 to the Xbox One, while maintaining and honoring its fabled past.”

Halo 2 anniversary is a modern iteration of the original and hugely popular title released ten years ago in 2004 for the original Xbox.

The HD remake will use capabilities of the updated hardware in the Xbox One and in doing so, offer next-gen graphics while giving the choice to switch to the original. It will also feature better sound effect and all new cut scenes.

Halo: The Masterchief Collection will be available exclusively for the Xbox One starting November 11. In addition to featuring remastered version of Halo 1 to 4, the game will contain beta access to Halo 5: Guardians.

Halo 5 Guardians is expected to release sometime in 2015.
