Halo: The Master Chief Collection Has Gone Gold and Will Receive 20GB Day One Patch
343 Industries has revealed that its upcoming title Halo: The Master Chief Collection has gone gold, meaning that you will surely be getting your hands on the game, come November 11.
It’s been a long, crazy, exciting road, and we’re finally getting close to launch of Halo: The Master Chief Collection in November. I wanted to personally share some big status updates with you. Let’s start with the biggest:
Halo: The Master Chief Collection has gone GOLD!
Moreover, developers revealed that the installation of the game will take 45 GB of your hard disk space upon initial installation, and apart from that, the collection will also receive a 20 GB patch on day one.
You will be able to start off the campaign after the initial installation, which will help you catch up with the stories of previous entries in the franchise.
The game will also allow you to download the day one patch while you are playing the campaign, so that you don’t have to wait anymore.
After you are done downloading the full game plus day one update, you will be ready to dive into the multiplayer of Halo: The Master Chief Collection, which players have been waiting for since the game’s announcement.
343 Industries also mentioned that Spartan Ops, the episodic co-op experience of Halo 4 will now arrive in December, and all ten episodes will be released simultaneously. The delay was done because developers needed more time to polish and improve the game.
Halo: The Master Chief Collection is slated for release on November 11, exclusively for Xbox One.
