Solo Mode for Super Smash Bros for Wii U Teased by Sakurai

By   /   Oct 16, 2014

Super Smash Bros for Wii U is all set for release next month; however there still are some things that you need to know about the game. For instance something that looks like a Solo Mode.

I call it something that looks like a solo mode because only one image was teased by Masahiro Sakurai, the game creator. He shared the image on his Miiverse account teasing ‘now, what mode is this…?!’

As you can see above it is an image of the menu screen where two characters are all prepped for a fight. It seems like the characters are bosses Master Hand and Crazy Hand. Both sides of the image show a lot of gold too. Any idea what this could be about?

That being said, the game is going to support Amiibo characters and will bring in 12 characters upon release namely Mario, Peach, Yoshi, Donkey Kong, Link, Fox, Samus, Wii Fit Trainer, Villager, Pikachu, Kirby and Marth.

These will be followed by six more characters that will be released in December; these are Zelda, Diddy Kong, Luigi, Little Mac, Pit and Captain Falcon.

Super Smash Bros for 3DS was released in Japan last month on September 13 and in the rest of the territories on October 3 and 4 separately.

As far as the Super Smash Bros for Wii U is concerned, it is slated for a release in North America on November 21. European Union will get it on December 5 while Australia and Japan will get it on December 6.
