SingStar for PS4 and PS3 is Just Two Weeks Away, New Details Shared

By   /   Oct 16, 2014

Games like Singstar are a really fun way to just relax and party with friends and family. The new SingStar title will be released later this month and will soon be available for Sony’s PS4 and PS3.

The game will come with some pretty decent features and will also have its own app. If you don’t have a mic, then you don’t have to worry about getting one as long as you have a smartphone.

Download the SingStar app and turn your smartphone into a mic. You can get the app free of cost for your Android, iPhone and iPod touch. All you have to do is connect this app to the same wifi network as your console and you’re good to go.

The app will also feature a playlist creator through which you can line up songs while your other buddies are playing their favorite tracks. Just choose a song and cue it up.

Furthermore, if you are a competitive type, then after you have set a high score you can challenge your friends to beat it. Let your PSN buddies know of your performance and challenge them to top your high scores.

Who said the PlayStation 4 camera lacks features? The game will use your PS4 camera and will allow you to add amazing effects and snapshots and videos as well. Also:

“Swap color filters during gameplay and transform yourself into your favorite music persona using new AR masks to add a bit of atmosphere with some funky lighting effects.”

Streaming those crazy singing videos will be more fun than ever with the help of these new features. SingStar is slated for release on October 28 for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.
