In today’s video, we discuss something subjective – are video game remasters good or bad? And...
Arcana Heart 3: Love Max Six Stars Now Also A Thing
Developer Examu has announced Arcana Heart 3: Love Max Six Stars. That’s fairly surprising since Arcana Heart 3: LOVE MAX!!!!!; yes, with all those exclamation points, released less than a month ago.
If you’re worried about getting chumped into buying what’s already a remaster, essentially, don’t worry. Arcana Heart 3: Love Max Six Stars is headed to arcades in Japan this winter, so it’s not another impending console shipment.
This new version will add one character and one Arcana, which are the special support characters behind a fighter’s power. Minori Amanohara is a perky character that tries to foolishly take on a hero persona of Subaru the Exterminating Fairy.
Minori will be accompanied by Arcana Ichor. Each of these support characters provides their own specific powers, though not a lot is known for this new one.
As far as the character design of Minori is concerned, it’s not exactly sensible, but it’s fully in line with the rest of the roster. Arcana Heart 3 is the proud owner of a fully female cast, which would be classified best under the “lewd” banner that’s popular in its anime style these days.
Aside from some exaggerated animations, however, the focus on this sexy aspect stays pretty minimal in the game. In fact, the customization option of support characters and the verticality of flying jumps make Arcana Heart 3 one of the better, lesser known fighters currently out there.
Arcana Heart 3: Love Max Six Stars isn’t confirmed for any other platforms other than arcades, so far. Then again, as we stated, it would be unwise to have yet another version right after a fresh release.
Given there’s only one character so far, maybe this one should be downloadable content (DLC) on consoles.
