Capcom went on to reveal that more than 31 million copies of the famous franchise have been sold worldwide as of today and with the release of new title, they are expecting this number to increase even more.

According to a weekend report from Famitsu, Monster Hunter 4G has been sold almost 1,617,949 copies, which is quite an impressive figure for just two days.

Despite the great number of sales, Capcom wants to expand its franchise to more users by holding an event called “Kari Con – Let’s Go Hunting with MH4G” which will take place sometime in October.

In addition, Capcom is going to hold another event called “Monster Hunter Festa 15″, which will begin in January next year. More events and activities of this sort will keep on happening to increase the value of “Monster Hunter Brand.”
