The Crew Teases Customization Options in New Trailer
Car fanatics want nothing better than to spend time customizing their vehicles to near perfection in racing titles. The Crew offers plenty of that and in a newly released trailer, Ubisoft has given just a taste of things to come.
The trailer only features a single Ford car, but that is shown customized with various specifications ranging from visual and equipment changes. Watch how Ubisoft tweaks the vehicle according to performance needed to drive around straight or windy circuits, plain or dirt roads, and more.
From the teaser, we can gather that players will be facing an abundance of possibilities for car tuning and interior and exterior changes. It’s all about setting up the right tools to give you an edge in the game.
Recently it was revealed that The Crew will be offering microtransactions to purchase performance enhancing parts with real money. These can still be unlocked through the game’s progression system but those with less time and more money on their hands can always choose to spend real money.
In the accompanying gameplay footage, we also get to see the cars burning rubber with beautiful environments in the back. The open-world racer pretty much gives you access to a scaled-down version of America where players can drive from country to country.
The Crew was originally scheduled for release soon but was then delayed to December 2 due to more time being requested by the developer to polish the title further. It will arrive for the PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.
