Ryse Son of Rome PS4 Version: Devs are ‘Open to Opportunities’
What started off as an Xbox One exclusive that no other platform was supposed even go near to, might turn into something totally different. We had recently discussed a lot about the game’s PC version, but that was expected. However, what is this that we are seeing now, a chance of Ryse Son of Rome PS4 version?!
Well, Cevat Yerli the chief executive officer and president at Crytek had made it clear in the past that it was their IP and they would take it where they wanted, but a PS4 version wasn’t discussed materially.
Now, Brian Chambers the senior producer for the game has voiced a hope that could keep some people waiting for more intel – specifically those who happen to be PlayStation 4 users among the Ryse fans.
We’re always open to new opportunities for our franchises, although for the moment we have our focus firmly on bringing Ryse to PC players, as well as the ongoing development of our other IP’s: Warface, Arena of Fate and Hunt: Horrors of the Gilded Age.
Alright that isn’t saying much but it does mean that once they are done with whatever is keeping their hands busy, they might start looking at Ryse Son of Rome PS4 version.
Seeing how Crytek has recently gone through a major reshuffling of the organization, I am sure they just don’t want to make promises that might get hard to keep in the future.
So, what could this bring us? Is it possible that the developers would still give importance to a Ryse Son of Rome PS4 version or maybe they could do so with Ryse 2 – if that ever happens?
