After one sided battles in North America, Europe and other regions, Sony and Microsoft will go head to head in China. In China though, Microsoft has already released its latest gaming console, the Xbox One and according to a report Sony will soon be following its rival’s footsteps to China.

Although no release date is announced yet but it is said that Sony will start packing PS4 consoles in December for their eventual release in China.

According to a filing on the China Pilot Free Trade Zone website, Sony intends to package 200,000 PS4 gaming consoles for shipment. The news was confirmed by a Sony spokesperson who also stated that actual production numbers might be different.

After a 14 year ban, the Chinese market is wide open and ready for PS4 vs Xbox One showdown.

The Xbox One has reportedly sold 100,000 units in its first week of launch in China which is not a bad start. Will the PS4 be able maintain its dominance over Xbox One or will Sony come in second place this time around? We will have to wait and see.
