Xbox Japan Shares Extended Quantum Break Gameplay Demo
New gameplay video of Xbox One exclusive Quantum Break has surfaced online courtesy of Xbox Japan and it mostly shows the same level that we saw at Gamescom, but it also includes a couple of minutes opening sequence which is new and this demo is played by a different player, giving a whole new feel to the gameplay.
The video is over 10 minutes long and it gives you a pretty good idea of what to expect from the gameplay of the upcoming title. The game will include a feature that will allow you to stop the time, giving you a big advantage against the enemies.
You can utilize the time stopping power to either go up to enemies and take them out or you can fool them by switching your place while the time was stopped.
Quantum Break is a new IP under development at Remedy Studios, who has brought us some memorable games like Max Payne and Alan Wake.
The concept of combining fast paced third person shooting with time stopping power certainly feels interesting. However, until we get our hands on the game we cannot be sure how both of these together will impact the gameplay.
Not much information has been revealed about Quantum Break thus far, but it is slated for release in 2015, so hopefully, we will find out more about the game pretty soon.
