Dragon Age: Inquisition Runs at 1080p on PS4 and 900p on Xbox One
BioWare has confirmed just now that Dragon Age: Inquisition will run at 1080p on the PlayStation 4, while the Xbox One will have to do with 900p.
“Confirmed: #DAI resolution is 1080p on PS4, and 900p on Xbox One. We maximized the current potential of each platform,” wrote the official page on Twitter.
We still have no confirmation on the fps counters. PS4 owners would be hoping to get their bread buttered on both sides with an increased fps compared to the Xbox One. However, seeing the vast open world of Inquisition don’t be surprised if both versions run the game on 30 fps.
The confirmation on the resolution comes shortly after a bunch of rumors went live stating that the game would run at 900p and 30 fps on both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. BioWare was quick to post a response, putting down the rumors and claiming them to be fake.
Dragon Age: Inquisition holds a lot of value for EA. Its acceptance helps EA get into the good books of a lot of community members who have turned against the company following its various practices over the years. Recently though, Ubisoft is looking to take that crown from EA.
Dragon Age: Inquisition will be released on November 18 in North America and November 21 in Europe for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.
