New PES 2015 Trailer Showcases Incredible Realism
Konami released a new trailer for Pro Evolution Soccer 2015 titled “Brazil Game Show” earlier today.
The trailer shows off the games incredible graphics. The stadium lighting and overall environment look especially realistic.
Sports games have been getting more and more realistic over the years, and they are almost to the point now where a casual observer not familiar with video games could easily mistake a sports game for a real-televised game.
One of the biggest gameplay innovations for PES 2015 is that players and teams will have incorporated A.I. that makes them act much more like their real life counterparts.
There are over 1,000 players in the game modeled after real-life soccer players, and each have their own play styles and unique animations. Teams will also utilize their real-life strategies by default.
Pro Evolution Soccer is one of the best-selling game franchise of all time with well over 81 million copies sold as of December 2012. Although that number has surely climbed even further in the two years since, overall sales of PES games have declined sharply compared to EA Sports’ FIFA series in recent years.
For example, PES 2014 sold just 1.66 million copies across all systems worldwide compared to a massive 15.75 million in sales for its competitor FIFA 14 according to sales statistics from VGChartz.
PES 2015 will be available on PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4. It is scheduled to be released in North America and Europe this November.
