Minecraft PS Vita is Finally Coming Out on October 15

This is an announcement that will surely be a relief for Playstation Vita owners who wanted to see Minecraft make its way to their handheld.

After Microsoft’s buyout of Mojang, there were some speculations regarding the future of this Vita version but now developer 4J Studios has revealed through a post on twitter that the game will make its way to Sony’s handheld next Wednesday on October 15.

According to 4J, the game has passed final testing and will be available in Europe only, for now. When will North American fans be able to play the game is not yet announced but we will keep you updated on the matter.

“We don’t have a confirmed North America #MinecraftPSVita release date yet. Hopefully we’ll hear soon.”

If you already own the game on PS3 then you should know that the Vita version of Minecraft is a cross buy title and won’t cost you a dime. However, for new players the game will cost $19.99.
