MLG Hosting Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Open Tournament Next Month

Major League Gaming has announced an open tournament for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare which will be held next month in Columbus, Ohio.

The tournament matches will be streamed online for those unable to make it to the event and will be available exclusively on MLG.tv from November 28-30. A total of 128 teams will be participating in an open bracket, with 12 teams starting in “pool play battle.”

The matches will commence on November 28 at 6:00 p.m. ET.

“With $25,000 in prizes, 25,000 MLG Pro Points, and the last four spots in the upcoming Season 1 of the MLG Pro League on the line, it’s a competition eSports fans won’t want to miss,” said MLG.

Following the two-day event in Columbus, MLG will then begin Season 1 of the MLG Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Pro League online.

Scheduled for December, a total of 12 teams will make the cut, including the top eight teams from Season 3 of the MLG Call of Duty: Ghosts Pro League and the top four teams from the MLG Open 25k Series Tournament in Columbus.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is scheduled for release on November 8 for the PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.
