Download Dragon Age: Origins and Bejeweled 3 For Free

By   /   Oct 8, 2014

Gamers can currently download hit RPG Dragon Age: Origins on PC, a $19.99 value, completely for free via EA Origin’s “On the House” program.

The casual tile-matching puzzle game Bejeweled 3 from PopCap Games (normally $4.99) is also currently a free On the House download.

Click here to go to the On the House page to download either game. There’s no catch. All you need is an Origin account.

Although the game itself is free to download EA still has good reason for this promotion since it will likely spur additional sales for downloadable content.

Dragon Age: Origins has a plethora of DLC fans will likely want to pick up including Warden’s Keep, Return to Ostagar, The Darkspawn Chronicles, Leliana’s Song, The Golems of Amgarrak, and Witch Hunt which all add additional story, missions, and areas.

Dragon Age: Origins is the first game in the highly popular Dragon Age franchise and considered by fans and critics to be the best. The PC version of Origins has a 91 aggregate review score on Metacritic (Dragon Age II has a 82 for comparison).

Origins was initially released back in 2009 for Xbox 360, PS3, PC, and Mac. It won numerous Game of the Year and RPG of the Year awards in 2009.

Despite the fact Origins is a little dated at this point being five years old, it’s still one of the best RPGs out there so if you haven’t played it you should definitely go pick it up. It’s free!

Go grab your copy quickly though because according to the description on the Origin website, “On the House specials can appear and disappear at any time.”
