GTA V Will Take 50GB of Space on Playstation 4, Biggest Game to Date
A user on the GTA Forums posted a pretty legitimate looking screenshot earlier today allegedly showing some previously unknown game details for the upcoming PlayStation 4 version of Grand Theft Auto V.
The leaked pre-order page from the PlayStation Store was apparently for a bundle that included $1,300,000 in-game funds split between single player and GTA Online.
One of the major takeaways from the screenshot, however, is that GTA V on PS4 will require a whopping 50 gigabytes minimum of hard-drive space to install and save.
Considering the standard PS4 hard drive comes with a hefty 500GB of space, it shouldn’t be too much of aproblem, but if true thiswould rank GTA V as one ofthe largest PS4 game released to date.
The Last of Usalsohad a50GB install and Wolfenstein: The New Order required aminimum save size of 48GB.
Another interesting point to note from the screenshot is the sentence “a PlayStation Move navigation controller or Wireless Controller will be required for motion control features,” indicating the game will also support motion control gameplay elements
Some gamers might not know that the PS3 version of GTA V actually had an option to utilize the Sixaxis motion control to steer aircraft, bikes, boats, and also with reloading.
The page showing all of this information, supposedly from the European PS Store, has already been taken down.
GTA V was released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 last September and holds a 97/100 aggregate review scores on Metacritic. The next gen version is slated to come out on PS4 and Xbox One on November 18th, 2014.
The much-anticipated PC version of the game isn’t scheduled to be released until two months after that on January 27th, 2015.
