The Black Glove by Former Irrational Games Employees Hits Kickstarter
A select number of former Irrational Games employees announced their new title called the Black Glove earlier this year in June. The new title is under development at the indie studio Day For Night Games and the project has started a Kickstarter campaign.
Folks at Day For Night Games have previously worked for Bioshock and Bioshock Infinite. The team working on Black Glove is aiming to raise $550,000 in order to fund their ambitious title. Black Glove is a narrative-driven first person game which takes place in the Equinox Theater.
The 1920’s theater setting is apparently outside the limitations of time and space as you will be able to time travel and change certain aspects of the present with the help of The Black Glove.
“…an eerie 1920s theatre that appears unstuck from conventional reality. A venue pervaded by weird dream logic, inexplicable holes in space, unshielded x-ray art installations, and tasteful use of crushed velvet.” Day For Night Games explains.
Your job will be very simple, travel back and forth in time to manipulate events and lives of different artists at the theater.
There is an introduction trailer for the game available at the developers Kickstarter page. Feel free to check it out here. Day for Night Games are planning to release the title in late 2015 for PC, Mac and Linux platforms.
