Sorcerer King Announced by Stardock, Available Now on Steam Early Access
Stardock, the developer known for its work on Galactic Civilizations and Sins of a Solar Empire has announced their current project called Sorcerer King. The 4X fantasy strategy title will be a PC exclusive.
Unlike most strategy titles where you are put in charge of a world or an empire and tasked to expand it, Sorcerer King on the other hand starts with the world being almost destroyed at the hands of the evil Sorcerer King, his vicious monsters roam free on our land and will try to kill you at every step of the way.
Your goal is to rebuild the world around you as much as you can, recruit the remaining factions that survived and kill the sorcerer King before he becomes a god and bring down the apocalypse.
“Instead of competing against equal players, you’re behind the eight ball trying to stop the Sorcerer King and his minions from destroying the world. It’s strategy gaming under a guillotine,” Stated Stardock VP Derek Paxton.
Interested? If you want to try out the game, Sorcerer King is now available on Steam Early Access with a 15% discount. You can have early access for the price of $34 instead of $40 for a limited period of time.
Stardock is planning to release the Sorcerer King in spring 2015. So what do you think? Will you be giving this game a try on Steam Early Access? Let us know in the comments below!
