The Master Chief Collection Q&A Discusses Halo: Combat Evolved
It feels good to say it out loud that Halo: The Master Chief Collection is releasing next month, yes next month! We are finally there.
However, 343 Industries wants to make sure that we are prepared for everything that the collection is going to bring us so they held a Q&A session discussing one portion i.e. Halo: Combat Evolved.
First off, you must be wondering if you will be able to play some or all of the game modes that the original game had. Well, rejoice because the developers have confirmed Halo: The Master Chief Collection will bring you every game type and custom game type that you know of.
Moving on, one question asked if Halo: Combat Evolved matchmaking will include radar. The response to this was positive news saying that you will get various playlists:
As is the case with all games within Halo: The Master Chief Collection, we will have a variety of experiences in Matchmaking that cater to a variety of playstyles. For example, you’ll be able to find Halo: CE games with radar enabled and disabled (in separate playlists).
Next up, if you had played CE on your PC the last time, you would remember certain exclusive maps. We have confirmation that even those maps will be available in the upcoming re-release in both the custom games as well as matchmaking.
Lastly, they stated that you will get a brand new list of weapon sets in the game and one of them will be ‘classic’ – it won’t have Fuel Gun Rod or the Flamethrower though.
Halo: The Master Chief Collection is slated for a release to Xbox One on November 11 for North America and November 14 for United Kingdom. Are you ready for some new Halo: Combat Evolved experience?
