Quan Chi Will be a Playable Character In Mortal Kombat X

By   /   Oct 2, 2014

Warner Bros. has announced that the latest edition to Mortal Kombat X roster is Quan Chi. Just yesterday Ed Boon teased a coming announcement for Mortal Kombat X and now we know what it was.

Executive producer Shaun Himmerick introduced Quan Chi in a new trailer and explained that character has three variations. One of which is the Summoner variation though which he can summon a beast of the NetherRealm to help him out in during the fight , something tells me that won’t end well for his opponent.

Secondly he can easily cast spells and use his magical abilities to increase his strength with Sorcerer variation. And last but certainly not the least, the Warlock variation that will allow our tattooed fighter to open dark portals in order to extend his attacks with impressive combos.

So far returning characters include Kano, Raiden, Sub-zero and more but according to Ed Boon, the introduction of new characters is important and they will probably introduce more characters in this game compared to any other MK.

Right now, the confirmed list of new additions to the roster includes Cassie Cage, Kotal Kahn, Ferra/Torr and D’Vorah.

The tenth installment in the series will be available for PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC starting April 14, 2015.
