PS Vita Firmware Update 3.30 Rolling Out, Brings Theme Support and More

Sony has started to roll out the highly anticipated 3.30 firmware update for PS Vita and it is going to bring some new personalization options for the players.

With this update, you will be able to change the actual background, icons of applications and even the music that plays in the background when you are browsing.

The themes that you will be getting on downloading the firmware 3.30 update are of the first party exclusives: Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Tearaway and Freedom Wars.

In addition to the game related themes, Sony has revealed that other themes will also become part of your PS Vita after this update. These new themes are named as Crystals, Four Seasons and Stitching.

Furthermore, this update will allow you to see the trophies in accordance to their rarity, giving you a chance to see how good your gaming skills are.

The Calendar app on PS Vita will now have the option that will allow you to send “event files” to your friends using E-mail or Messages.

The owners of the handheld must be delighted to get this update as it gives them multiple options for personalization.
