Kim Kardashian: Hollywood Makes Way to Facebook
Kim Kardashian: Hollywood is expanding to Facebook after having garnered surprisingly good numbers in sales on phones and tablets.
The game will release on the popular social media platform with the new 2.0 update, which allows players to get married in Florence, much like Kim’s wedding with Kanye West earlier this year. Alongside the notion of virtual marriage, the update also features more quests and outfits, including wedding dresses, tuxedos and rings.
Finally, players can also throw parties with their new spouses, a necessity if you’re looking to unlock more clothing.
Kim Kardashian: Hollywood is a free-to-play title that was released in July on iOS devices. Prior to its release everyone had a good laugh about its prospects. However, nobody was expecting the game to immediately become a top-grossing item on the Apple Store.
Sales figures have been kept private but analysts believe it to easily earn $200 million before the end of the year. Such is the power of the Kardashian name and the ability to purchase in-app items with real money, which includes energy that runs out from buying clothes, accessories, homes and cars.
