Xbox One Managed to Shift 100K Units in China on Day One

Xbox One has finally launched in China and early figures reported by A9VG are claiming that more than 100,000 units have been shifted thus far.

However, it is not clear whether 100K units were shipped or sold on Day One, but with this kind of figure, I am sure Microsoft will be hoping to be more successful in China than it was in Japan.

Last year, China lifted the ban on the consoles and with Xbox One officially launching in the country, there will be a lot of consumers who would love to get their hands on it.

There is no doubt that Chinese Market has a huge potential for console gaming and Microsoft seems like to have a descent start in the local market but we are yet to see Sony’s arrival. I am curious if it will be a global trend their too or Chinese gamers will choose otherwise.

With exclusives like Sunset Overdrive and Halo: The Master Chief Collection headed to markets later this year, future of Xbox One is looking good in China and rest of the world.
