PES 2015 Devs Working with Microsoft to Improve Xbox One Resolution
Ever since the official website of Konami has said that the Xbox One version of PES 2015 is going to run at a meager 720p, fans of the series haven’t been happy with the Dev and Microsoft on the issue. Numerous websites have picked up the difference and as a result, even the brand managers of the series have had to resort to interesting reasoning.
However, there is light at the end of the tunnel now; apparently, the developers are working with Microsoft on the lesser resolution of PES 2015. May be they will come up with a solution together and bury the hatchet once and for all.
This was revealed by the European brand manager for PES Productions, Adam Bhatti through his official Twitter account. He said that they image on their website that showed the resolutions had been taken down and they were talking to Microsoft about it.
However, that is not exactly the kind of answer I was referring to when calling it interesting reasoning. Previously, he has been pretty active over the same Twitter profile defending the Xbox One resolution which is actually the same as PlayStation 3’s.
He said that they intended on making a great football game and that ‘resolution counts for nothing to do it.’ He also said that if the game was great he would even buy it if it ran at 480p.
Well, to some extent yes, but if you look at it from the perspective of the customers who spend around 500 bucks in order to get the new consoles, they would at least want the promised upgrades over the last generation of consoles won’t they? Point in question: the PS3 resolution for PES 2015.
Do you agree with Bhatti or not?
