Check Out This New Splatoon Gameplay Fresh Out of Eurogamer Expo

By   /   Sep 30, 2014

After its debut At E3, we didn’t hear much of this Wii U exclusive title but thankfully it was on display at the Eurogamer expo which gave us a peek at how the game plays.

The team based third person shooter will allow player to control half human and half squid children who fire ink cannons, yes you read it right. The goal of the game is simple, cover as much area of the map as can with ink. The team which covers the largest part will be the winner, simple yet very creative and fun idea.

If you want, you can completely turn into a squid and swim through your own ink in order to fill up your gun, also enemy ink is slower to move in so keep that in mind. Splatoon can be played by up to 8 players in 4 vs 4 matches.

If a member of your enemy team splatters you with ink, you will go back to your team’s respawn point. Using the Wii U gamepad you will be able to view your surrounding environment and can even instantly jump to a location of your team mate.

The concept of the game is fun and seems addictive. Splatoon has definitely sparked my interest what about you? What do you think of the game? Share with us in the comments below!
