F.E.A.R Online Unleashes on Oct. 17, Open Beta Starts Oct. 8
Ever since Aeria Games announced the next installment in the First Encounter Assault Recon series, fans have been eyeing for a chance to get their hands on it – now is the time! The F.E.A.R Online open beta kicks off on October 8 and will translate into a fully-fledged release on October 17!
If you are interested in the open beta, you should be on the official website of F.E.A.R Online right now and for those who would want to dive straight into the full game, here’s where you will find their Steam page.
Dr. Pascal Zuta, the chief executive officer of Aeria Games believes that the development team has worked extensively on feedback and redesigned the most important elements to appease the long standing fans:
We are excited to introduce F.E.A.R. Online to millions of PC gamers with the launch on the Steam platform. Taking player feedback to heart, our team has redesigned elements of the game that are most important to players to deliver an experience that we hope will please the vast and dedicated fan base of the F.E.A.R. series.
The game was originally announced last summer and the closed beta phase kicked off four months ago in May. The redesigns that Zuta is talking about relate to the changes people demanded after the closed beta. There will be new maps, redesigned crafting system and a new scenario.
The setting of the game puts you in to investigate some unsettling experiments that were held at Armacham Technologies Corporation. The story will have a cooperative layout while different modes will surround the same story that runs parallel to F.E.A.R 2: Project Origin.
So who is pumped up for some F.E.A.R Online horror?
