Call of Duty Advanced Warfare “Hellspawn” Mode Does Not Exist

By   /   Sep 30, 2014

If you have been following up on the latest news and happenings about the upcoming Call of Duty Advanced Warfare, you will know that recently a rumor has been flying around over the internet regarding something called a Hellspawn mode in COD AW.

But before this rumor could spread any further, co-founder of Sledgehammer games Michael Condrey stated on twitter that Hellspawn has “no meaning” in Call of Duty Advanced Warfare.

The tweet confirms that Hellspawn mode is a fake. However, this rumor was started by a random Reddit user, although his post is now removed but before its removal it stated that Hellspawn is the 4th game mode in COD AW which is being kept under wraps as a surprise till the launch of the game, similar to the Extinction Mode which wasn’t announced till a week before release.

So there you have it, this is an example that we should wait for official announcements before raising our expectations. Call of Duty Advanced Warfare will be available for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC starting November 4, 2014.
