Uncharted 4 Designer Tweets Drake’s Weathered Mug

Naughty Dog is slowly but surely pulling the curtain over its new Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End title, much to the awe of its fans.

As part of the studio’s 30th anniversary art gallery, the game’s Lead Designer Kurt Margenau tweeted an image over the weekend that showed a close-up of Drake himself.

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End - Drake's Model

“Drake looking next gen as f*ck at #ND30 celebration!” he wrote.

Despite it being a snap and not an in-game screenshot, the details on Drake’s weathered face still look pretty impressive. If anything, the expectations of fans are going to be raised further and surely Naughty Dog is capable of delivering it head on.

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End was first revealed at Sony’s E3 press conference this year with a teaser trailer that showed Drake washing up on a beach looking beaten and bruised.

“Several years after his last adventure, retired fortune hunter, Nathan Drake, is forced back into the world of thieves,” the trailer’s official description stated.

Uncharted 4 is set for a release sometime in 2015.
