Dying Light EGX Gameplay Shows Co-op, Comptetive PvP and More

Dying Light new gameplay video at EGX showcases co-op, PvP multiplayer and parkour of the upcoming title.

The game will feature a co-op mode, where the players along with their friends will be able to play in different ways – one of them can take the rooftops while the other one can clean out the streets or one can distract the enemies while the friend takes them down, so there are multiple ways to play the game cooperatively.

However, this co-op don’t need to be friendly all the time, which is why developers have added an option into Dying Light which will start a competition between the two players for a limited time and whoever wins it, can have the bragging rights and experience points.

The competition between two players can consist of killing more zombies than the other player or reaching a certain destination faster than the other player. Developers promised that the final product will have more challenges like the ones showcased in the video.

All of the stuff that you do in the game will help you get the experience points, which you will need to level up. These level-ups will provide you with more skills that can prove to be extremely helpful in the game’s world.

Developer, then moves on to show the game’s competitive PvP mode, in which other players will be able to invade your game as an infected and their task will be to kill all the survivors, whereas you will have to find and destroy the three hives that will pop up after the invasion.

Check out the awesome co-op play and PvP mode of the highly anticipated horror game in the attached video above. Dying Light will hit the shelves on 27th of January for PS4, PS3, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.
